Composition
Saldon Plus original lollipops :
active ingredients : amylmetacresol – 0.60 mg, 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol – 1.20 mg
excipients: red food coloring, flavorings (sweet anise and menthol oil), anhydrous citric acid, liquid glucose, sugar, coating substances
Saldon Plus strawberry lollipops:
active ingredients : amylmetacresol – 0.60 mg, 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol – 1.20 mg
excipients : red food coloring, flavorings (sweet strawberry oil), anhydrous citric acid, menthol, liquid glucose, sugar, coating substances
Saldon Plus orange lollipops:
active ingredients: amylmetacresol – 0.60 mg, 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol – 1.20 mg
excipients: quinoline food coloring, sunny yellow (orange) FCF, flavoring agents (sweet orange oil), anhydrous citric acid, menthol, liquid glucose, sugar, coating substances.

Description :
Saldon Plus original lollipops : round red tablets with anise aroma and a characteristic sour lemon taste.
Saldon Plus lollipops with strawberries: round tablets of red color with a flavor similar to strawberries and with a sour taste.
Saldon Plus lollipops with orange: round biconvex tablets of orange color with a predominant aroma of orange and a characteristic sour taste.
Saldon Plus lemon-honey lozenges: round biconvex tablets of brownish-yellow color with a predominant aroma of honey and lemon and a characteristic sour taste.
Saldon Plus lemon lollipops: round lemon-colored tablets with lemon aroma and a characteristic sour taste.

Pharmacological properties
Combined antiseptic drug for local use of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat. The main active ingredients of the drug have a synergistic antibacterial effect on a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms.
In case of viral diseases of the upper respiratory tract, it prevents the addition of a secondary infection. Natural inclusions included in the drug reduce sore throat.
Pharmacokinetics
Due to the insignificant absorption of the drug and detection in trace amounts in the blood plasma, there are no data on the pharmacokinetics of the drug Saldon Plus.
Indications for use
The drug is used for infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx: pharyngitis, laryngitis, catarrhal tonsillitis, stomatitis, ulcerative gingivitis. As an adjuvant – chronic tonsillitis.
Directions for use and doses
The drug should be taken after the first signs of inflammation of the mouth and throat appear.
Adults and children over 5 years: 1 lozenge every 2-3 hours. Lollipops need to be sucked until they are completely absorbed. Do not take more than 8 lozenges in 24 hours.
Side effects
The drug is usually well tolerated. There were no side effects of the drug. However, allergic reactions are sometimes possible.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Pregnancy and lactation period.
Children’s age up to 5 years.
Drug interactions
No clinically significant interactions with other drugs have been identified. Concomitant use of the drug with other topical antimicrobial agents is possible.

If symptoms persist for more than 3 days and you also experience a high fever, headache or other symptoms, you should consult a doctor. Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Patients with diabetes should be aware that one lollipop contains 2.4 g of sugar.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
It is not recommended to use the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to the lack of data on the safety of the drug in these individuals.
The drug should not be used after the expiration date and should be stored out of the reach of children.
Overdose
Rarely, gastrointestinal discomfort may occur in the stomach area.
Treatment: drug withdrawal, gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy.

Store in a cool place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25˚C.
